A little bit about me...

I was born in South Devon, in a small quirky house next to a castle in one of the most creative and expressive towns in the country. I grew up writing songs and jumped at every opportunity to perform them live.

I have worked in a range of different jobs before becoming a music therapist. I have taught music and dance, toured the UK with my original music, I have supported people through recovery from traumatic brain injury, and have enjoyed working with young people with disabilities.

I became a music therapist because I have experienced how powerful music and the arts can be and I am committed to helping others experience freedom, healing and wholeness.

I now live in Scotland and when I am not working I enjoy spending time with friends and family, walking my dogs in the beautiful countryside, and baking (I'm told) the worlds most delicious brownies!

My Music Therapy Experience

I have supported clients who are facing health challenges including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, schizophrenia, traumatic brain injury, and single-incident trauma.

I have also worked with young people and adults with learning disabilities and complex additional needs and offer both 1:1 and group sessions at a wellbeing centre in Edinburgh on Friday afternoons. Please specify when you get in touch if you’d like to refer someone to this service.
